Week 9 was such a fun week! I was able to help facilitate the Poetry Cafe event and the Speaker Series event. Both events were very interesting. The Poetry Cafe had a huge impact on me, I was able to learn more about my fellow classmates. Many students got up to read their poetry and I was able to learn more about them. I appreciated everyone having the courage to get up and speak in front of others.

The Speaker Series event was also an amazing event. I really enjoyed listening to all the guest speakers share their stories. Many of them were motivational and inspirational. I feel like I was able to make an impact at this event by helping serve food after the event. Sweets and Meats BBQ donated food for after the event. The mac and cheese from Sweets and Meats BBQ was the best I have ever had! I liked serving people food and helping make the event a success.

This week in my classes I have been working hard to finish my midterm assignments. In my Intro to Education class I was able to work ahead and get 3 writing assignments done! I feel very accomplished this week, with staying on top of my studies. I am looking forward to Spring Break, it will be a chance for me to pick up some hours at work and to keep working on my future assignments. One Week closer to graduation!
