This week I helped facilitate a French Film Festival. This event was a lot of fun, students and community members came to the auditorium and enjoyed a french film. I helped set up the event, check people in, and clean up. This event had an impact on me because people were excited to be involved. It was great seeing a large amount of community members at the event. It brings me joy when I see other people enjoying the events I help facilitate. I think it is great that UC Blue Ash is getting community member involved on campus.

I feel that I was able to make an impact at this event in a few ways. I wanted to create a welcoming environment, when people came in I greeted them with a smile and got them excited about the event. At the end of the movie I helped in the auditorium by running microphones to audience members who wanted to ask a questions or comment on the film.  I look forward to participating at future film festivals.

This week in my history class we covered the American Revolution. It has been awhile since I have taken a history class, I had forgotten so many details about U.S. History. Being enrolled in this class is great because I love learning about the history of the U.S. In my business communications class we are learning how to be more professional when writing emails, which is very helpful. I love learning how I can become more professional. I look forward to what next week brings!
