This week was an amazing week, I cannot believe it is already week 4! I really enjoyed helping facilitate the Speaking Series for Harlan Jackson. He is such an inspiring person, he really encouraged me and gave me motivation. There was something he said that had an impact on me he said it is alright to fail, just make sure you fail forward. He explained that failing forward means you learn from your failures and mistakes. Many times in my life when I fail at something, I get discouraged. Mr. Jackson gave me reassurance that failure is a part of life, it is what I do after I fail that matters. I am so grateful that I was able to hear him speak.

This week in my persuasion class we talked about the Super Bowl and how the commercials were persuading consumers. This class is so fascinating to me, I am very interesting in why I want certain things. I have become more aware of when I am being persuaded to buy a certain product. All of my classes are going great this semester. I am so excited to graduate in May!
