This week I participated in a campus visit as well as a Rad Tech information session. During my campus visit I had many prospective students who were very engaged and interested in learning about the college. I enjoyed my tour group very much I was able to teach them about UC Blue Ash and give them a student perspective. The Rad Tech information sessions are such a wonderful resource for prospective students. Sometimes students get overwhelmed when applying to college, the event helped a lot of students gain a better understanding about the program as well as the application process.

This week I was able to job shadow an Admissions Officer. I am so glad my professor recommended job shadowing, I was able to see first hand what admissions recruiting is like. I visited Aiken High School and talked with 4 different classes. I introduced myself to the students and talked to them about UC Blue Ash College. I was able to share my story and a students perspective. It was so much fun walking back into a high school and meeting new perspective students. I love to get out and spread the word about UC Blue Ash College. Job shadowing really helped me solidify my thoughts on wanting to become and Admissions Officer / Recruiter.
