Week 9 has been a great week filled with lots of events! I participated in another English Conversation Group meeting. We got together in groups and created spooky Halloween stories. We also played a few fun games as a group. I really enjoyed meeting new people and making new friends. I helped facilitate a French Film Festival as well.

This week Eric Broyles came to campus as a guest speaker. He graduated from UC and talked about how he became a success after many people told him he would not make anything of himself. This event had an impact on me and motivated me to do my best and believe in myself. Hearing Eric's life story gave me a new perspective and inspired me. Also the fact that he donated $1,000,000 to UC Blue Ash is AMAZING! I am so thankful for his donation, his donation will help many students for years to come.

This week we also had our second Open House. I feel that I was able to make an impact on this event, because I helped facilitate the event from start to finish. There were many different aspects that I helped with from creating information packets, making cookie trays, checking in students , and helping the Ambassador team. I love working these types of events, being able to interact with prospective students is one of my favorite things about my job.

My classes have been going great! This week in my Business Communications class we have been working in teams. I am not used to working with others on assignments, but I am having a great experience. Everyone does their part and so far we have been successful in completing our work. This week I was also able to register for classes for Spring 2019! I am so excited to be so close to graduation!
