Week 14 11.25.18 - 12.1.18
I can not believe the semester is almost over! This week I had a campus tour, which was great. Everyone that went on the tour were very interested and engaged in what I was saying. They asked some very good questions and seemed to really enjoy learning about campus. I always like getting to interact with student and their families. I hope that I was able to make an impact on them, and get them excited about UC Blue Ash.
This week I also participated in English Conversation Group. We talked about why ECG is such an important group and all the things they have to offer to students. I was able to give my input about the group, which was awesome. I enjoy going to ECG, I hope next semester I can still participate. We also played some fun games and had a great time.
This week was a special week for me. I have been working with my mother, and the VA Coordinator to get Christmas cards signed. I am going to send Christmas cards overseas to deployed troops. My fiance is currently deployed, and I wanted to do something to help deployed soliders over the holiday season. I took Christmas cards to all of my classes and I went office to office and asked people to please sign a card. The way people responded had such a huge impact on me. So many people where thanking me for what I was doing, the support and feedback from people made me feel good. I hope that when soldiers open their cards, it helps lift their spirits.
