This week I helped Admissions and Student Life facilitate Open House. I am the Admissions Liaison, I am responsible for communicating between the Admission Office and the Student Life Office to ensure we have successful events. I feel like I was able to make a big impact at Open House. I helped make sure that Student Ambassadors were confident in completing their assigned tasks. I helped run check-in with the Admissions Student workers. I also floated around the event to check on everyone to make sure things were going smoothly. I love these types of events, because I get to interact with prospective students.

This week there was a Drag Bingo event hosted by the Alliance club which had an impact on me. It was such a fun event and I learned so much about the LGBTQ events happening on campus. The members of the Alliance club were very appreciative of Student Ambassador support. This event really educated me and I had a blast!

My classes this week are going great - midterms are next week! In my Spanish class I am learning how to communicate my daily routine in Spanish. I am working on my daily routine power-point, which I will be presenting to the class.
