Week 7    10.7.18 - 10.13.18

This week was a tough week for me, I have been dealing with a pretty severe upper respiratory infection. I was able to pull through and give two campus visits this week. My first tour this week went very well. The prospective students and parents in my tour group were very engaged and had a lot of great questions. I enjoyed showing them around campus and getting them excited about coming to UCBA. After my tour was over I felt like I was able to make a positive impact on my tour group. Everyone had thanked me and appreciated me sharing my knowledge of UCBA with them.

My second campus visit was even better than my first. I had about 22 people in my tour group, everyone in my group was very interested in what I had to say. As we were walking around campus I could tell they were very impressed with the new renovations. I really enjoy giving campus visits, it give me a chance to tell my story as well as getting to show prospective students our beautiful campus. This tour really had an impact on me, after my visit three different families walked up to my supervisor and expressed how great their tour was. Hearing other people say they got so much out of my tour really made me proud. As families were leaving they complimented me and it really boosted my confidence.

This week was midterm week and I am exited to say it went very well. In my Spanish class I gave a presentation about my daily routine, it was so much fun getting to learn about my other classmates. In my business communications class I got a 100% on my midterm. In my quantitative reasoning class I got an A on my midterm. I was very stressed about taking my midterms, but now I can relax and focus on preparing for my final exams.
