My second week of classes went well. I am preparing for my first Spanish exam! I have been spending a lot of my time studying and doing homework this week. My online classes keep me very busy. I am developing better time management skills, due to my course load. I am working on a schedule to help me manage the time I spend each day doing homework and studying. The first week of classes, I overwhelmed myself by spending 8 hours straight doing school work, in one day. I am trying to find a balance where I spend equal amounts of time each day completing tasks. This week I have really improved, I take more study breaks and am able to manage my time effectively.

Every Friday this semester, I sit at the welcome desk for one hour. I enjoy being at the welcome desk greeting students and assisting them on the phone. My knowledge from the Admissions Office came in very handy. I am looking forward to participating in future Student Ambassador events throughout the semester.

 

I have been preparing for the first Student Ambassador meeting. I am the Admissions liaison this semester, I have been speaking with the professional staff members in the Admissions Office to see how I can be of help. The Admissions Office will be facilitating a high school counselors breakfast next week on September 12th, I will be helping facilitate that event. I am looking forward to having another great week!
