Spring semester has officially started! I am so excited to be back on campus! My winter break was amazing, it was really nice having some time off to relax and prepare for a new semester. My first week of classes have been great! All of my professors are really nice and I can tell this semester will be great! I am enrolled in a Persuasion and Civic Engagement course, it is very interesting. We are studying how people are influenced and persuaded. I am take an Intro to Interpersonal Communications, we are studying how people communicate and interact with each other. I am also taking an Into to Education class, we are studying the history of education. I am enrolled in an online Spanish level II course. Now that I have finished Spanish I, my Spanish II class goes more in depth.

This week was the Bicentennial Celebration! The University of Cincinnati turned 200! The event was so much fun, the President of the University of Cincinnati came to campus and spoke. I really enjoyed helping with the event, I felt like this event had an impact on me because it was so inspiring. Dean Lightner and President Pinto gave amazing speeches. It was nice seeing everyone come together to celebrate! I also feel like I was able to make an impact at this event by helping with set up and clean up. The Ambassadors worked together, to help make the event a success. I look forward to the rest of the semester!
